Based on the foundations of work jackets and blousons, this piece takes on a modern expression by stripping away front stitchwork. It layers with a wide range of styles.
While the double collar has a historical and functional role in protecting from wind and rain, within this series, it serves as an element of elegance. Enjoy the versatility of the collar to match your mood. The side adjusters allow you to sharpen the silhouette. In addition, a zipped inner breast pocket is discreetly tucked deep inside on one side.
The fabric is a high-twist cotton canvas, combining durability and resilient firmness with a dry texture. We believe you will enjoy the unique character that emerges over time as well, as the color fades and the texture evolves. This piece is designed to be enjoyed throughout most of the year, except in summer.

The two shades of indigo we selected—Fuka-ai and Dark Navy—embody the sensibilities of HAMMI and its Japanese origins. They are essential to our first collection.

*When wearing in deep winter:
The outer shell, woven at high density with high-twist cotton yarn, is both durable and wind-resistant. Smooth lining extends through the sleeves for effortless layering. While the fabric itself has substantial weight, it lacks the warmth of wool; during the coldest months, we recommend layering with heavy knits or a down inner.

*For final production, an additional snap button will be added to each cuff, allowing you to adjust the fit. Each cuff will feature two buttons.

二つ襟は雨風をしのぐ、歴史的・機能的な側面もありますが、今回のシリーズの中では華やかな部分です。気分に合わせて、襟元の表情をお楽しみください。左右のアジャスターでシルエットをシャープに整えることもできます。また、片側の深めの位置にジップ付きの胸内ポケットを仕込んでいます。
生地は強く撚り上げたコットンキャンバスで、耐久性とハリコシ、ドライな質感を兼ね備えています。経年による色の擦れや風合いの変化、その唯一の姿もお楽しみいただけると思います。夏以外のシーズンで幅広くおすすめできる一着です。

*真冬に着用いただく場合:
通常よりも強く撚った綿糸で高密度に織り上げた表地は、タフで防風性に優れています。また、袖裏まで滑らかな裏地を施しているため、快適な袖通しです。生地自体には十分な厚みがありますが、ウールのような保温性はないため、真冬は厚手のニットやインナーダウンなどを重ねていただくことをおすすめします。

- The back features a retained waistband with an integrated, equal-width flap, introducing a functional waist adjustment.
- A back yoke seam adds a subtle shift in visual texture, capturing the aesthetic form of traditional construction without built-in ventilation.
- A zipped inner breast pocket is discreetly tucked deep inside on one side.
- Featuring 0.7cm stitching along the collar, sides, and outer sleeves, balanced by 2mm edge-stitching on the belt and tabs—thoughtfully varying the lines with utility in mind, to subtly shift the visual center of gravity.

- ワークジャケットやブルゾンを基礎に、フロントのステッチワークを排することでモダンな表情に。
- 一方で後ろ身頃にはベルトを残し、同幅のフラップを流し込んでウエストのアジャスト機能を設けています。
- バックヨークの切り替えは、本来のベンチレーション機能を設けず、伝統的な仕立ての美しさを活かしながら、視覚的な表情に変化をもたらしています。
- 片側にファスナー付きの胸内ポケットがひそやかに配されています。
